...Wow...

Csehy has blown past. Deer Camp is done. The big trip I've been waiting for is knocking at my door. I'm on the threshold of a grand adventure - I'll part ways with the known for a few weeks, and I'll see things I've never yet seen.

It's going to be so great. I have not been this excited for something ever, except maybe for Csehy. I'm almost there.

I'll stop with the artsy rambles and philosophical ponderings - let's get down to business. (I can just hear some people muttering some Disney lyrics we all know)

I'm going to keep a sort of journal along the way. I intend to somewhat share that, or at least some minor details of each day. I'll try to share pictures, but no promises! I probably won't post anything from now until I get back, but I promise I will write some at the end of August.

So...goodbye? It's hard to fully comprehend that something you've been waiting for is here, and that you're leaving. But I must do it.
